Our Work

Eight interconnected domains of peacebuilding through which ICPHP creates measurable change across communities and generations in Pakistan.

Home / Our Work

Area 01

Interfaith Dialogue & Religious Harmony

Facilitating structured interfaith dialogues, multi-faith peace conferences, and bridge-building events that bring together Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and other faith communities across Punjab and Pakistan. Our gatherings create lasting personal relationships and practical cooperation on community challenges.

Key Activities

  • Multi-faith dialogue sessions and interfaith peace conferences
  • Interfaith Harmony Week with British High Commission, Lahore
  • Interfaith Get Together — welcoming the Bishop of Lahore
  • Roundtable with Australian Ambassador at Grand Mosque, Lahore
  • Interfaith Council Conference with Faith and Youth Leaders

Area 02

Minority Rights Protection

Ensuring equal access to justice, education, and opportunities for all religious minorities in Pakistan through legal aid, policy engagement, and collaboration with the Human Rights and Minority Affairs Department, Government of Punjab.

Key Activities

  • Collaboration with Punjab Government Human Rights Department
  • Legal aid and case advocacy for minority individuals
  • Policy engagement to strengthen constitutional protections
  • Punjab Police Meesaq Centre visits
  • Advocacy against forced conversions and forced marriages

Area 03

Youth Empowerment & Peace Education

Our flagship Interfaith Youth Training Programme in Punjab has trained over 2,000 students from diverse religious and ethnic backgrounds through interactive workshops and leadership development activities.

Key Activities

  • Interfaith Youth Training Programme — 2,000+ students in Punjab
  • Leadership workshops in schools, colleges, and universities
  • Peace education sessions in Madrassahs across Punjab

Area 04

Community Relief & Emergency Support

When disasters strike, ICPHP sends people, not statements. Our community relief work demonstrates our interfaith mission most powerfully: faith leaders from different traditions standing together to serve those in need.

Key Activities

  • Flood relief operations — multi-faith teams distributing essentials
  • Emergency support for displaced communities
  • Scholarships for minority students
  • Vocational training programmes for minority community members

Area 05

Conflict Resolution & Crisis Response

In July 2023 in Marriam Town, Sargodha, ICPHP rapidly deployed a delegation that successfully de-escalated rising tensions. Following the Jaranwala incident, we visited the affected Christian community and arranged for families to hold Sunday prayers in a local mosque.

Key Activities

  • Rapid-response deployment to sites of interfaith tension
  • Multi-faith delegations communicating solidarity
  • Mediation between community groups
  • Collaboration with police and government in crisis management
