Our Story
The Peace and Harmony Welfare Foundation, operating as ICPHP, was founded in Lahore with a conviction: Pakistan's diversity of faiths is not a source of division, but a wellspring of strength.
In a country where interfaith tensions remain serious challenges, we chose a different path — not confrontation, but conversation. Over two decades, we have grown from a local initiative into a nationally recognised institution with partnerships stretching from Lahore's Madrassahs to the British Parliament and Italian diplomatic mission.
We are led by President Allama Shakeel Ur Rehman Nasir and General Secretary Hafiz Sami Ullah — both with over 20 years of dedicated service — and a multi-faith council representing Muslim (Sunni and Shia), Christian, Hindu, and Sikh communities.
Peace and Harmony Welfare Foundation registered in Lahore with a mandate for interfaith dialogue and minority rights protection across Punjab.
Formal collaboration established with the Human Rights and Minority Affairs Department, Government of Punjab, and Punjab Police.
ICPHP delegation visited the UK Parliament on FCDO invitation, representing Pakistan's interfaith model internationally.
Pivotal role in defusing interfaith tensions in Marriam Town, Sargodha — demonstrating the real power of dialogue in crisis.
Hosted a landmark farewell dinner for H.E. Marilina Armellin at PC Hotel Lahore, deepening Pakistan–Italy interfaith ties.
Our Foundation
To actively promote peace, welfare, inclusivity, and interfaith dialogue across Pakistan — building a society where people of all religions coexist with respect, dignity, and equal opportunities through dialogue, education, advocacy, and direct community engagement.
A just and inclusive Pakistan where every religious community — Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Sikh, and others — can practice their faith freely, contribute to national progress, and live without fear of discrimination, forced conversion, or communal violence.
Pakistan is home to over 220 million people from multiple faith traditions. ICPHP works on both sides: protecting minority rights while educating and engaging the majority community in authentic, peaceful religious values — building the social trust that makes Pakistan's diversity a source of national strength.
What We Believe
Six principles that guide every decision, partnership, and intervention we undertake.
We approach every faith tradition with genuine curiosity and respect — believing each religion carries wisdom and that no faith community holds a monopoly on truth or virtue.
Every Pakistani citizen, regardless of religion, possesses equal human dignity. We reject all forms of discrimination and work to ensure this dignity is protected in law, policy, and daily community life.
The hardest tensions can be resolved through honest, courageous conversation. We have demonstrated this in Sargodha and Jaranwala — understanding replaces fear when people sit together and speak truthfully.
The future of Pakistan belongs to its young people. We invest in training youth from all faith backgrounds to become the next generation of peace ambassadors and advocates for inclusive democracy.
When disasters strike — floods, communal violence, discrimination — we respond with action, standing physically alongside affected communities and demonstrating that humanity transcends religious boundaries.
We engage with government, law enforcement, media, and international bodies to embed the principles of peace and minority rights into the institutions that shape Pakistani society.
